Reiki "Tender Loving Care" 靈氣治療

At Tin Hau Pet Hospital, we would like to call it our way of giving TLC to our patients. Reiki, a Japanese word meaning "Universal Life-Force-Energy", was discovered by Dr. Usui, in the late 1800's. It is the process of channelling intensified life force energy through the hands onto the body by way of the body's energy centres. This life force energy can promote healing on all levels - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Reiki has the potential to relieve pain and speed the healing process while working to maintain a balance within the body.

靈氣治療是由日本人臼井饔男於約一百年前開創的按手自然療法，透過雙手將宇宙治療能量（即靈氣）傳送到身體，以達致保健強身及治病的功效。全球學習靈氣治療人數超過三百萬，除了不少歐美醫療機構將此治療應用在日常醫護工作上，部份美國醫護團體更將靈氣課程列入為「持續進修學分CEU」之一。
